Women In the Wind Fall 2026

Women in the Wind is an introductory sailing program designed to provide a supportive, confidence-building environment for women to learn the fundamentals of sailing. Open to women and non-binary individuals of all experience levels, this program welcomes everyone from complete beginners to those looking to refresh or strengthen their skills.

Each class features a different sailing topic or skill, allowing participants to return throughout the season to continue building their knowledge and skills. With a blend of shoreside instruction and hands-on sailing on Lake Pontchartrain, every session offers a fun, welcoming opportunity to learn, connect, and grow.

New for Fall 2026: Women in the Wind is expanding to a three-hour experience, giving participants an additional hour to sail, practice new skills, and build community on the water.

Whether you’re trying sailing for the first time or continuing your sailing journey, Women in the Wind offers an empowering way to develop your skills while becoming part of a supportive sailing community. Come with friends or come solo – you’ll leave with new skills, new confidence, and new connections!

Class Fee: $65 per participant (3-hour session)
