What to Expect

Venture under the cover of darkness aboard one of our vintage trolleys to find the side of Bourbon City that many are too afraid to look for. As the sun sets over Old Louisville's gaslit streets, our expert storyteller will guide you through two centuries of restless spirits, haunted landmarks, and paranormal legends that have made Louisville one of the most paranormally active cities in America. One part ghost story, one part true crime, and every tale true.

This 2-hour narrated ride begins in the Victorian heart of Old Louisville — long whispered to be America's most haunted neighborhood — before winding through the Highlands and into the heart of Downtown, with a stop along the way for a drink at one of the city's own haunted haunts.

Under all of her grandeur, Derby City hides her darkest secrets in plain sight. Hop on, if you dare.

The Old Fashioned Express is happy to welcome guests with mobility challenges. Please note that this tour includes onboarding and off-boarding of the trolley and walking through local neighborhoods. Wheelchair users may need to transfer to a seat upon boarding.

If you are in a wheelchair and unable to transfer, please let us know in advance when booking so we can ensure the trolley is properly equipped for your visit with a wheelchair lift. We can accommodate a maximum of one wheelchair onboard per tour. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee wheelchair access without advance notice. We also do not have the ability to store scooters, wheelchairs, or walkers that do not fold onboard the trolley (folding mobility devices are welcome, and we will do our best to store them for you).
