The Latverian Cask Experience is a guided morning tasting at the historic Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, built around Orphan Barrel x Avengers: Doomsday Latverian Cask 20 Year Old Light Whiskey. It's bookable only through Mint Julep Experiences, runs Thursday through Saturday mornings from November 5, 2026 to January 30, 2027, costs $225 per person, and includes the chance to purchase a bottle.
Some collectors guard a mint-condition variant cover. Others guard a dusty allocated bottle they'll open "for the right occasion". Orphan Barrel x Avengers: Doomsday Latverian Cask is the rare release that belongs on both shelves.
It's a 20-year-old American light whiskey from Orphan Barrel, the Diageo label known for rescuing long-forgotten casks, dressed in a collector's bottle inspired by Doctor Doom's kingdom of Latveria. And for this release, the tasting room isn't in a fictional castle. It's at Stitzel-Weller, one of the most iconic distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
