What to Expect

Tuesday, November 10, 6:00 – 8:30 PM

Natural and nourishing plant-based oils, butters, and essential oils, along with locally produced beeswax, will take center stage in this hands-on workshop with Ann Staudt of Siberian Soap Co. Participants will delve into the art and science of product formulation, exploring the numerous beneficial properties of carrier oils, clays, beeswax, botanicals, and essential oils used in personal care products.

Each participant will go home with their own custom collection of made-from scratch personal care products, including an herbal lotion bar and multiple lip balms—ideal for keeping skin and lips healthy and hydrated in the colder months ahead!

This program is suitable for ages 12+.

Instructor Info:

Ann Staudt is the founder of Ames-based Siberian Soap Co., featuring plant-based, nature-inspired products for hip humans and dapper dogs. With degrees in chemical and environmental engineering, and 15+ years experience creating eco-friendly herbal soap and personal care products, Staudt loves sharing the art, science, and creativity of hands-on product formulation with workshop participants from all walks of life!
