What to Expect

Climb aboard for a trip to the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad’s pumpkin patch!

  • Cross the 156′ tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge, as well as the Des Moines River Bridge.
  • Once children have picked out the perfect pumpkin and climbed back aboard, the train returns to town.
  • The journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • These trains depart at 10:00 am.
  • Please arrive at the depot one hour before departure time. Trains cannot be held for late arrivals.
