Candlelight
A St. Charles holiday tradition since 1972!
What to Expect
EXPERIENCE THE HOLIDAYS IN AN OLD-FASHIONED WAY
Cherish the sounds of holiday music, the scent of fresh-cut evergreens, the warmth of a glowing fire, the flicker of candlelight, and the flavor of old-fashioned treats as your family explores the historic 1843 Durant-Peterson House by candlelight!
Also visit the 1872 Sholes School, a short stroll from the Durant-Peterson House, for a traditional children's Christmas Pageant.
Both museums are included in one low price!
Tickets are $5/Adult and $1/child. Entry times at the Durant-Peterson House Museum are at half-hour intervals to ease congestion. Your visit can extend longer than the half-hour interval you select.
TIP: Purchase tickets for entry times when the pageant is being performed at Sholes School (see showtimes below). These are the least congested times at the Durant-Peterson House Museum.
