Tater Tour de Boise: Potatoes & Bicycle Food Tour
Idaho is famous for potatoes. We made a whole bike tour out of them.
What to Expect
The Tater Tour de Boise is a 3.75-hour guided bicycle food tour celebrating Idaho's most famous crop — the potato. You'll pedal between seven stops across the East End, Downtown, Park Center, the North End, and the Lusk District, tasting creative spud dishes from loaded fries to potato tacos, while your guide serves up potato history and Boise stories along the way. The route is mostly flat and beginner-friendly, with about 30 minutes of easy riding between stops. Bring your own bike or rent one (e-bikes available) from George's Cycles, where the tour starts and ends. Family-friendly and all-inclusive.
