What to Expect
Our Epic Group Surf Lesson is an economical, social surfing experience designed for ages 12 and up and all skill levels. Lessons start and end at the Fairmont Kea Lani Ocean Experience Center with complimentary shuttle service to Kalama Beach Park. Hand-selected, experienced instructors maintain a 5:1 guest-to-instructor ratio so everyone gets personalized guidance while enjoying the thrill of catching waves together. Photographer options are available for purchase and secure lockers are provided for belongings.

Restrictions
Guests must be at least 12 years old to join this public group lesson. Children under 12 must be in a private lesson or on an Ohana package with parents. Non-swimmers must take a private one-on-one lesson; other lesson types require the ability to swim comfortably in the ocean without assistance or a lifejacket. Jamie O’Brien does not personally teach or guide lessons. Surfboards are not available for rent at this location.
