Departure from Honolulu permits guests to enjoy the beauty and excitement of blue-water sailing surrounded by these spectacular mammals. These whales visit the Hawaiian Islands every year between December and May. Reaching sizes of 35-50' and weighing up to 50 tons these intelligent visitors return annually to deliver their newborn calves in Hawaii's sheltered, warm waters and start another generation of these endangered species.
