What to Expect

VIP EXCLUSIVE SMALL GROUP SURFING
Hawaiian Surf School: Private Lesson for 3-4 students with a Private Lifeguard Surf Coach. Learn to surf together in a private group with dedicated professional surf coaches.

Please allocate approximately 2.5 hours for the complete surf school experience, from check-in to paddle-in.

Includes

  • Private Hawaiian lifeguard surf coach per pair
  • 20‑minute surf classroom coaching at HLSI HQ
  • Up to *2 hours surf time at Kahaluʻu Bay
  • Surfboard + leash
  • Rash guard and water shoes

Returning surfers skip the classroom for extra surf time

Restrictions

  • Ages 12+ required to participate.

  • Students must be able to swim, follow basic English instructions, and handle intensive physical activity.

  • Disclose any injuries, surgeries, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect your ability to safely participate in this ocean activity.

  • Maximum equipment weight limit: 265 lbs

  • Pregnant individuals are not advised to surf; consult a physician.

  • For health concerns or mobility challenges, contact us before booking — 1:1 Private Solo Surf may be recommended.

If staff determine participation is unsafe, your class may be canceled. The 48‑hour cancellation policy still applies.
