BEGINNER SURF GROUP CLASS:

Beginner Surfing Lesson is 2 hours. This is our most popular learn-to-surf single-day lesson. No experience is required. This mixed-adult group class is also good if you have surfed 1 or 2 times before. This is also a great refresher class. The minimum age is 11 years old. We guarantee that you will have fun learning to surf in this class. Don’t worry if you are a slow learner or an athlete; we pace this surf lesson to meet each student's needs. Our friendly surfing instructors will help you enjoy the surfing experience. You get a choice of surfboards that are stable and easy to ride. The water is warm, usually averaging around 78 degrees (25.5 °C), and the waves are fun and inviting. We supply all your gear: Surfboards, water shoes, and an SPF 50 Lycra shirt to wear. Just bring your bathing suit, towel, and something to drink. We run these classes 6 days a week. Start times 8am, and 10am. 24-hour cancellation policy for all activities.

Choose "Beginner Class" when making your Booking.
Minimum age for mixed-adult classes is 11 years old. Children 8 to 11 years old should do a semi-private lesson, and kids under 8 should do a private lesson.
*All participants must be able to swim, and be comfortable in the ocean. No non-swimmers allowed.

INTERMEDIATE LESSONS:

In this group surfing lesson, you will learn how to catch more waves, read the waves and ride more waves, including surfing down the line, turning and trimming. There is always more to learn. We supply the wave action, and surfing instruction; you supply the attitude. This is a great follow-on class for someone with a few of our Beginner Surf Classes under their belt or for the self-taught surfer. Surfing with an Instructor is safe and rewarding, especially when you are surfing new locations for the first time. In this class, "basic long surfboards" are included. However, you are welcome to bring along your own surfboard, or you can rent a specialty board from the shop at a discount with the lesson. 24-hour cancellation policy for all activities. KIDS SURF LESSONS:

Our first experiences with the ocean usually shape our attitude towards it for the rest of life. It is so important to start kids off with a fun and safe experience. Our Surfing Instructors provide your kids (as young as 8) with a specialized kids' surfing class. Kids will have fun and learn to play while surfing and acquire new skills. Kids younger than 8 can be taught in private surf sessions or in semi-private groups of similar ages. They will catch and ride waves on their first surfing lesson (with a lot of help from the instructor). They will have a satisfying sense of accomplishment and a connection to the ocean that they will always remember. Choose "Kids Class" when making your Booking. *Kids younger than 8 should book a Private Class.

PRIVATE SURFING LESSONS:

If you want some personalized surfing instruction we have private lessons available. This is a great way to learn at your own pace. Our experienced instructors/guides will spend their time with you and work on what you want. Go slow and cruise, and have a relaxing session, or get right into the action and charge, it is totally up to you. This lesson is 2 hours long. All equipment is provided. These classes are suitable for all ages, and no experience is required.
