Ukumehame Beach provides the perfect setting for your surf lesson, and our talented instructors are eager to take you out. We’ll choose the ideal spot on the beach to match your skill level, and all equipment will be tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your technique, or simply start your surfing journey safely, our world-class coaches will assess your abilities and customize the lesson to suit you.
When Should You Go?
Wave conditions are typically best in the mornings before the wind picks up, which is why our standard start times are 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. If you're an early riser, the 7:30 AM session offers the best chance to beat the wind and crowds — early birds get the worm!
- Afternoon lessons are available when wind and wave conditions permit. If you require a customized start time in the afternoon, you can fill out our CONTACT US form or call us at 808-870-SURF (we are also on WhatsApp), and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
