What to Expect

Every trip is custom-tailored to match our guests’ interests and ocean conditions. We typically depart Honokōhau Harbor around 7:00am and head offshore for a pelagic wildlife safari, with nearly two dozen species of dolphins and whales possible to observe, including frequent sightings of pilot whales.

For guests hoping to encounter larger predators, we’ll explore open-ocean sites where oceanic whitetip sharks and whale sharks are sometimes spotted. We typically wrap up the tour with a snorkel at one of Kona’s vibrant coral reefs, exploring lava-formed coastlines full diverse marine life including manta rays.

We will be back at the harbor by 12pm but no sooner than 11am.
