A hands-on lei making workshop
What to Expect
Monday & Wednesdays at 4pm
We start off with an introduction to the land and its history/signiffcance accompanied by a short tour of the beautiful valley. Touching on the rich history found here in this Wahi Pana or Legendary and sacred site.
From there we jump into our Awa (Kava)
presentation where you will be served our relaxing drink (made from the Kava root) and learn of the significance of this plant here in Hawaii and throughout the pacific.
You will be served out of "apu" or traditional
coconut shell cups which you will be allowed to take home with you!
These are both unique experiences that truly
immerse you in the culture of Hawaii. It's here that we will share with you the stories of our ancestors and why it still holds deep meaning for us today.
