While the Diamond Head Shuttle Tour is designed to accommodate a wide range of participants, certain restrictions should be considered to ensure safety and enjoyment for all:

Pregnant Women

The hike includes steep inclines, uneven terrain, and stairs, which may not be suitable for pregnant women, especially those in advanced stages of pregnancy. Please consult your doctor before participating.
Mobility Impairments

The trail to the summit is not wheelchair accessible and includes areas with uneven surfaces and steep stairs. Individuals with mobility challenges or requiring walking aids may find the hike difficult or unsafe.
Health Conditions

The hike involves moderate physical exertion. It is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, respiratory issues, or joint problems. Participants should be in good physical health to complete the trail comfortably.
Height Restrictions

There are no specific height restrictions; however, some sections of the trail have railings and stairs that may feel challenging for very young children or those who have difficulty with heights.
Age Recommendations

While the tour is family-friendly, parents should assess their children’s ability to walk the trail independently. Younger children should be supervised closely throughout the hike.
Environmental Conditions

The hike can get hot and sunny, so individuals sensitive to heat or with sun exposure concerns should take precautions like wearing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

TOUR CANCELLATIONS

48 hours notice is required to be eligible for a full refund. Less than 48 hours notice and no-shows may be charged full price without exception.

TOUR CHANGES

48 hours notice is required to request a tour change of date or time. All rebookings are subject to availability and must not conflict with minimum capacity requirements listed below.

GO OAHU CARDHOLDERS
nIn the event the GoCard number(s) provided cannot be validated on the day of the tour - the credit card on file will automatically be charged the full price of the tour. North Shore Beach Bus is not responsible for any GoCard issues or restrictions. All guests are subject to any terms and conditions included in their GoCard purchase.

INCLEMENT WEATHER OR COMPANY CLOSURES

Trips will run rain or shine. All trips are subject to change or be canceled without notice due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstance. The company will make the final decision and may cancel at any time should the weather conditions be deemed unsafe or unfit to complete the activity. Customers will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund in the case of any operator cancellation. While advanced notice will be provided when possible, tour cancellations may occur up until the activity start time.

Customers will receive a full refund with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
