What to Expect

This adventure shares Hilo through the lens of place, history, and connection to the land. We begin at Rainbow Falls, a wahi pana deeply rooted in Hawaiian moʻolelo, then travel north to the powerful beauty of Akaka Falls. From there, we spend time in Downtown Hilo for lunch and exploration, honoring Hawaiʻi’s legacy at the King Kamehameha Statue (Hilo) and along Hilo One, where the bay reflects Hilo’s deep relationship with the ocean. We continue with a peaceful walk through Liliʻuokalani Gardens, and end the day with a favorite local stop at Big Island Candies, a sweet reminder of Hilo hospitality.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made 72 hours or more before your scheduled tour are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before your tour are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.

Tours may be adjusted, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather, road conditions, volcanic activity, park or site closures, or other circumstances that may affect the safety of our guests and guides.
