What to Expect
Winter Wonders
Begin your morning with a winter journey along Kauaʻi’s iconic Nā Pali Coast. Departing from Hanalei Bay, you’ll reach the coastline within 15 minutes, leaving plenty of time to take in sea cliffs, hidden valleys, waterfalls, and pristine beaches aboard our custom-built 35-foot catamaran.
Winter mornings bring cooler breezes, dramatic skies, and the chance to witness migrating humpback whales (November-May). These tours are designed for sightseeing and wildlife viewing — with our crew sharing history, legends, and insights that bring the coastline to life.
Because winter ocean conditions can change quickly, this seasonal tour runs for about three hours and does not include snorkeling or lunch. This is both for safety and to minimize potential waste in the event of weather-related cancellations.
Your captain will always pause for wildlife encounters — dolphins, turtles, monk seals, rays, goats, and, in season, whales — and notable points along the coast, ensuring plenty of opportunities for photos and memories.
Please note: Winter tours are more prone to cancellation due to ocean conditions. To give yourself the best chance of joining us, we recommend booking earlier in your stay.

Restrictions
This tour is suitable for most guests, but please note the following:

Minimum age: 4 years old

Mobility: Guests must be able to wade through water and climb a 4-step ladder for boarding and disembarking. Not recommended for those with limited mobility.

Health: Expectant mothers or guests with back, neck, or other physical limitations that could be affected by boat movement or water activities are not permitted.
These measures are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
