On the Self-Guided Walking Tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the beauty and diversity of our Formal Gardens at your own pace. Stroll through the vibrant Shower Tree Park, admire the tranquil Ka’ula Lagoon with its cascading waterfall and tropical island setting, and visit the serene Japanese teahouse nestled among lush surroundings. Discover the unique landscapes of the Desert Garden and Palm Garden, each showcasing distinct plant collections and thoughtfully designed spaces. Throughout the gardens, you’ll also encounter more than 30 striking bronze sculptures that add art and character to the natural scenery. Along the way, knowledgeable volunteers will be stationed at various locations within the Formal Gardens, available to answer questions, share insights, and help enhance your overall experience.
