What to Expect

Aloha chocolate lovers! Treat yourself to a self-guided tour of our tree-to-bar chocolate factory in Kailua, Hawaiʻi (on the island of Oʻahu).

Immerse yourself in this one-of-a-kind chocolate journey where you will:

See the chocolate-making process from start to finish—from roasting cacao to finished chocolate treats
Taste chocolate in many forms—from chocolate fountains to a gift shop overflowing with chocolatey offerings
Discover what it takes to farm cacao here in Hawaiʻi (the only U.S. state with the necessary climate to grow chocolate)
Learn Mānoa Chocolate’s story: where we came from, where we're going, and how we’ve grown over the last 15 years

Restrictions

Watch your step! This tour requires the ability to climb stairs. Guests must be prepared to walk up 56 steps then back down again. If you wish to visit the gift shop at the conclusion of the tour, you will need to complete this journey a second time.
We process milk, wheat, and nuts in this facility. If you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions, please let the greeter know at the beginning of the experience.
We are a real, functioning chocolate factory. This is not just for show! That means you'll see the realities of our day-to-day operations—even the trials and tribulations, like spilled chocolate and broken machinery.
Guests 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
