Aloha coffee and chocolate lovers! Treat yourself to a combined tour of Tradition Coffee Roasters and Mānoa Chocolate Factory in Kailua!
Begin at Tradition Coffee Roasters, where you will:
- Learn more about coffee than you ever thought possible— from farming and roasting to brewing and flavor.
- Taste three unique coffees, ask all your questions, and enjoy a fun, casual hour with certified coffee professionals at our Kailua roastery.
You will be guided next door to Mānoa Chocolate Factory to continue your tour, where you will:
- See the chocolate-making process from start to finish—from roasting cacao to finished chocolate treats
- Taste chocolate in many forms—from chocolate fountains to a gift shop overflowing with chocolatey offerings
- Discover what it takes to farm cacao here in Hawaiʻi (the only U.S. state with the necessary climate to grow chocolate)
- Learn Mānoa Chocolate’s story: where we came from, where we're going, and how we’ve grown over the last 15 years
Restrictions
- Watch your step! This tour requires the ability to climb stairs. Guests must be prepared to walk up 26 steps, then back down again at least once.

Tradition Coffee Roasters and Mānoa Chocolate are both functioning roastery and factory facilities. This is not just for show! That means you'll see the realities of our day-to-day operations—even the trials and tribulations, like spilled chocolate and broken machinery.
