What to Expect
Experience the famous Road to Hana on a private, full-day journey along Maui’s lush windward coastline. Travel the classic route through iconic one-lane bridges, winding switchbacks, and 620 curves, passing rainforest cliffs, waterfalls, lava rock coastline, and some of the island’s most legendary scenery.
This is a rugged and scenic drive that requires an experienced local guide, allowing you to fully relax while we handle the road in comfort in a luxury SUV. Along the way, we capture amazing photos in and out of the vehicle, stop to sample local roadside snacks, and explore dramatic lava flows, rainforest lookouts, waterfalls, and coastal viewpoints.
We also include opportunities to swim at waterfalls and relax at beautiful beach stops, depending on conditions. The journey continues into Hana for a relaxed lunch stop before heading back along the same route, revisiting key highlights and discovering new perspectives along the way. Most guests love this approach for its flexibility, depth, and the beautiful North Shore light as the day winds down.
