About

Ku’uipe Sportfishing staff are dedicated fishermen and mariners. This is one reason why we offer a spreading of ashes service to honor and celebrate loved ones. Departure from Honokohau Harbor is 5:00pm and 5:30pm. (Let us know if you have another location in mind.) The usual duration is between one hour and one hour and a half, in total.

Our professional staff know the customs and traditions for a proper mariner’s send off.
This includes scattering of ashes, traditional circling the site and sounding the ship’s bell. We recommend you bring loose flowers to set adrift during the ceremony.
