This exclusive curated experience allows you to connect with the island from both land and air — offering a unique, multi-layered perspective.
Your journey begins with an 8:00 AM private takeoff from the scenic Princeville Airport (7:15 AM latest check-in). Enjoy a thrilling 30-minute morning flightseeing tour, soaring over Hanalei Valley, the majestic Waiʻaleʻale Crater, and the iconic “Jurassic Park Falls” (weather permitting), before landing at a private airstrip on the West Side.
From here, your experienced hiking guide will lead you through the wonders of Waimea Canyon and Kōkeʻe State Park, with approximately 7.5 hours of private, customized hiking and sightseeing. Hike as much or as little as you prefer — the day is tailored entirely to your group. Explore canyon rim lookouts, forest paths, unmarked viewpoints, and (optionally) enjoy lunch at the rustic Kōkeʻe Lodge atop the mountain.
Waimea Canyon and Kōkeʻe offer some of the most dramatic and diverse scenery in Hawaiʻi — sweeping canyon vistas, Nāpali Coast overlooks, high-elevation forests, and rare endemic plants and birds found nowhere else on Earth.
At the end of your adventure, your guide will drive your group back to Princeville Airport. The scenic return drive typically takes approximately 90 minutes, depending on traffic.
Optional Līhuʻe Airport Departure
Guests staying in Līhuʻe may request a departure from Līhuʻe Airport instead of Princeville.

Please note
The guided portion includes time for lunch and the scenic drive between trailheads and viewpoints. The drive into Waimea Canyon & Kōkeʻe takes roughly 1 hour each way, climbing from sea level to nearly 4,000 ft and ending at some of the most striking Nāpali Coast overlooks on the island.
In Case of Inclement Weather
If sudden inclement weather makes it unsafe to fly (Blue Hawaiian’s call), the morning flight may be delayed or cancelled. In these situations, guests will be transported by vehicle instead — typically a 90-minute drive from the hiking area back to Princeville. Safety is always the top priority.

nAll cancellations must be made with Kauaʻi Hiking Adventures
nAny guests who call to cancel their tour directly with us will be redirected to your agency to cancel.
nNo cancellations will be accepted via email.
nTours are non-refundable within cancellation policy as listed:
n• Cancellations must be made 5 or more days before the start of your tour
n• A “No-Show” will be fully charged
nA doctor’s note is required to cancel within the designated cancellation period.
n• The doctor’s note applies only to the person who holds the note.
n• The doctor’s note must be dated within 48 hours of activity date.
WEATHER CANCELLATION
nAll helicopter tours are subject to weather cancellations. While we make every effort to notify you as soon as possible for changes, the pilot will make a weather call up to 15 minutes prior to flight.
