Scent of Kauai
What to Expect
A Custom Fragrance Experience-
Some places stay with you forever. The warmth of the sun on your skin. Salt carried on the trade winds. A hidden waterfall. Wild ginger after rain. The quiet stillness beneath towering trees.
Scent has an extraordinary ability to capture these moments and preserve them long after we've left.
Nestled within our open-air treehouse studio at Kauaʻi Lilikoi & Butterfly Farm, Scent of Kauaʻi is an intimate fragrance experience where you'll create a custom natural perfume inspired by the island's most breathtaking landscapes.
You'll explore six exclusive signature accords—each handcrafted to evoke a different place on Kauaʻi. From windswept coastlines and lush river valleys to sunlit gardens, emerald forests, and golden beaches, each accord tells the story of a landscape through scent.
As you discover the one that speaks to you, you'll personalize it with a carefully curated collection of botanical notes including tropical florals, bright citrus, creamy woods, warm resins, delicate musks, and island-inspired accents. Every fragrance is blended by hand, creating a scent that is entirely your own.
No two perfumes are ever exactly alike. When your fragrance is complete, you'll bottle your creation in a beautiful keepsake rollerball glass bottle to take home—a personal reminder of your time on Kauaʻi and a scent that can transport you back to these remote landscapes.
This is more than perfume making. It's an invitation to slow down, create something beautiful, and carry a little piece of the island with you long after your journey ends.
