Check in is at 6:10 in the morning and we return to the Kihei Boat Ramp between 11:30-12 pm.

Prerequisites:
The Backwall trips cater to experienced divers who possess advanced skills and have participated in recent dives, preferably in Maui. A minimum of 40 lifetime dives is required for individuals seeking to join this excursion. Participants must demonstrate the ability to descend rapidly, feel at ease in challenging currents, exhibit excellent buoyancy control, and confidently perform a safety stop without relying on a mooring line. If you have fewer than 40 dives or haven't engaged in diving within the last 6 months, it is recommended that you choose a different dive option..**
Restrictions
Though we are planning to dive the Backwall on this date, Mother Nature is the ultimate boss of what we do. Should we find ourselves in conditions that do not allow us to safely dive the Backwall, we will find another less traveled/more advanced site or two and take it from there. We will not issue refunds if, due to weather conditions, we do not dive at this site.
We always have a fabulous dive trip planned, but sometimes mother nature does not cooperate. If conditions are not safe or suitable for any particular dive site, the captain may make a judgement call and take you to the best possible dive site of the day. So, although Molokini Crater is usually our #1 planned destination, if it's not safe to dive there, we will adjust our day accordingly to ensure you have a fantastic experience.
"Safe and Fun, in that order!" That is our motto. If we can't do both we aren't doing it. If for whatever reason conditions are so bad that the captain decides to "call off the day" we will happily reschedule you for another day, or offer you a full refund.

Cancellation Policy
-Important Note: If it has been over 2 years since your last dive, Island Style Diving requires that you complete a Refresher Dive or a guided dive prior to your boat trip.

48 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: You have until 48 hours prior to your boat trip to cancel or reschedule with no financial forfeitures.

72 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: Our above policy remains the same but is extended from 48 to 72 hours between the dates of December 15 - January 5.

96 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: This time period is in effect for all Private Charter bookings.

Cancellation Policy will be waived if divers miss the boat due to road closure or weather event that affects the population at large.

If a boat dive is cancelled due to bad weather, we will offer to reschedule you if possible. Otherwise, we will provide a complete refund.
