Cathedrals 2-Tank Morning Boat Dive
Sunlit lava chambers off Lanai that divers cross oceans to see.
What to Expect
The Lanai Cathedrals are the dive Maui divers talk about. These lava-formed underwater chambers are famous for the way sunlight filters through openings in the ceiling, and they draw divers from around the world. From Mala Wharf, they are just a short channel crossing away.
This two-tank morning charter takes you to the renowned Lanai coastline, where most dives run 50 to 75 feet with a maximum around 80 feet (24 meters). Our naturalist guides know these sites well and interpret the marine life you encounter, from resident reef fish to the occasional white tip reef shark.
A light lunch and bottled water are provided between dives. Towels are not provided. The channel crossing to Lanai can be choppy, and divers must be able to climb the boat ladder unassisted.
