The Explorer's Dive: Advanced Long Range Two Tank Charter

Most divers never see this side of Kona.

The Explorer's Dive takes experienced divers beyond our regular sites and out along the Big Island's remote coastline — to reefs that rarely see bubbles, in search of marine life that most divers only see in photos. This is Kona diving at its most adventurous.

We depart Honokōhau Marina at 7:30 am and head out for a 6-hour expedition. Along the way, you'll be scanning offshore for whales, dolphins, and pelagic species that roam these deep blue waters. When we reach our sites — selected for each trip based on conditions, season, and the goals of the group — you'll drop into some of the most pristine, least-visited reef systems on the island.

Two full tanks. Deeper walls. Rare encounters. The grand tour of what Kona's coast is truly capable of.

This is a diver-only trip for experienced underwater adventurers. 50 logged dives or a checkout dive on a Signature Morning Dive required.
