Join us Friday, November 20, 2026, for Aloha Unplugged, an intimate gala evening presented by Anaina Hou Community Park and the Henry Kapono Foundation to open Home in the Islands® Kauaʻi.

Set in the Porter Pavilion at Anaina Hou Community Park, Aloha Unplugged brings together Henry Kapono, Jerry Santos, Brother Noland, and On the Rise artists for a songwriter-style evening of acoustic performances, personal stories and conversation. Hosted by Master of Ceremonies Alx Kawakami, the night explores the inspiration, friendships and traditions behind the songs that have become the soundtrack of Hawaiʻi.

This year, the evening carries special meaning. During Hurricane Lowell and the weeks of recovery that followed, Anaina Hou set aside concerts and events to serve as the Kīlauea Resilience Hub, providing meals, ice, emergency power, charging stations and community support across the North Shore. Aloha Unplugged marks our return to gathering together, celebrating the people who stepped forward and investing in the work ahead.

More than a concert, Aloha Unplugged offers a behind-the-scenes look at the On the Rise program and Anaina Hou's role as its home base on Kauaʻi, ahead of Saturday's Home in the Islands® with Henry Kapono & Friends.

All proceeds support Anaina Hou's year-round music programming, including Concerts with a Cause, and our partnership with the Henry Kapono Foundation's On the Rise program, a mentorship initiative helping emerging Kauaʻi artists build sustainable careers and keeping live music thriving across Hawaiʻi.
