What to Expect
When scheduling, please note: Most programs are typically take place anytime from 10a-2p. Chimps are most active in the morning, please be mindful when selecting your start time. We are happy to work with you on a different time if you don't see something available online.
Youth Group Basic Tours:
Project Chimps offers basic tours for youth groups of 10-40 children under the age of 18. These tours are just $5 per child and the sanctuary kindly requests you bring items from our Wish List as a donation for the chimps to help offset other costs.
Walking tours typically last 60-90 minutes and offer opportunities to see chimpanzees in their outdoor habitats through viewing windows. Chimpanzee sightings are highly likely but never guaranteed.
Group Size: Groups can be between 10 and 40 students.
Fees: $5 per kid with a suggested donation from our Wish List. One chaperone per 10 students is admitted for free. Additional chaperones pay the standard entry price of $35.
Restrictions
Bus drivers are permitted to park at Project Chimps. Please note that up to 5 buses will be able to park and turn around in our main parking lot.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled visit will receive a full refund. Rescheduling of an existing reservation must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled visit.
nAll tours are conducted rain or shine. For instances of severe inclement weather where Project Chimps must close, a refund will be issued and/or the visit rescheduled.
