What to Expect
When scheduling, please note: Most programs are typically take place anytime from 10a-2p. Chimps are most active in the morning, please be mindful when selecting your start time. We are happy to work with you on a different time if you don't see something available online.
School Field Trips:
These instructor-led programs allow your students to learn about and connect with chimpanzees through inquiry-based explorations that support the curriculum of your classroom and meet Georgia Board of Education standards.
- Field trip groups must comprise of at least 10 students.
- Average programs are 10am-2pm.
- We do not provide lunch, please bring your lunches with you along with refillable water bottles and picnic blankets.
- See Wish List for donation items your students can collect and bring the chimps!
Fees: $10 per student. One chaperone per 10 students is admitted free.
Additional chaperones pay the standard adult fee of $35.
Restrictions
Bus drivers are permitted to park at Project Chimps. Please note that up to 5 buses will be able to park and turn around in our main parking lot.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled visit will receive a full refund. Rescheduling of an existing reservation must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled visit.
nAll tours are conducted rain or shine. For instances of severe inclement weather where Project Chimps must close, a refund will be issued and/or the visit rescheduled.
