What to Expect
When scheduling, please note: Most programs are typically take place anytime from 10a-2p. Chimps are most active in the morning, please be mindful when selecting your start time. We are happy to work with you on a different time if you don't see something available online.
Curricula Based Tours:
Looking for an educational partner? Project Chimps offers engaging classroom resources to fit your teaching goals. Our Field Trips and tailored tours cultivate essential STEM skills and align with Georgia Board of Education standards.
Your groups’ 3-hour visit to the sanctuary will be split into two parts. The first part will be a walking tour and the second part an engaging, educational lesson (you can view our available lesson plans here or create your own!). Prior to your visit, you will be able to select from a list of activities, allowing you to completely customize your class experience.
Group Size: Groups must be between 10 and 40 students. Larger groups must select the Field Trip option.
Fees: $10 per student. One chaperone per 10 students is admitted free. Additional chaperones pay the standard adult price of $35.
Restrictions
Bus drivers are permitted to park at Project Chimps. Please note that up to 5 buses will be able to park and turn around in our main parking lot.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 7 days before the scheduled visit will receive a full refund. Rescheduling of an existing reservation must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled visit.
nAll tours are conducted rain or shine. For instances of severe inclement weather where Project Chimps must close, a refund will be issued and/or the visit rescheduled.
