What to Expect
Welcome to Chimp or Treat 2026 - the perfect event for kids and kids at heart! Children are invited to “Chimp or Treat” in costume to see the sanctuary and enrich the lives of the chimps!
Chimp or Treat is a guided walking tour of the sanctuary, where little ones collect Halloween goodies along the way! This experience is about 45-60 minutes of moderate hiking with rest stops.
Please be mindful of the tickets you select. There are options for a walking or a cart tour. Please leave the CART option available for individuals that require mobility assistance. If you do not require mobility assistance via a golf cart type vehicle, please register for an available WALKING tour option instead.
Tickets are per person, including infants. One free adult with each paid child ticket. Include registrant details for all members of your party, including free adults.
Guests will receive their exact tour time when they check-in. (i.e. if you book a 1pm tour, your actual tour may depart at 1:15 or 1:30 based on your actual arrival time at the sanctuary.)
Come early and stay late to take a hike on the Chimp Trails, feed our beautiful koi, and explore other activities!

Each child will receive:
- A 45-60 minute, guided, walking tour, a special treat bag filled with vegan and palm-oil free candies as well as non-food treats items (temporary tattoos, erasers, etc.)
- The chance to see our chimps in their habitat areas

Cancellation Policy
This event is rain or shine. Should circumstances require cancellation of the event in its entirety, Project Chimps will provide full refunds upon request only. If you cannot attend an event, you will not receive a refund, but may transfer tickets to another person, transfer to a future event, or donate the full ticket value to the care of the chimps.
