What to Expect
Meet Your Tour Guide
Your bus driver and tour guide will be one of our experienced volunteers, Steve, Malcom, Vickie, or Brandon. Park at the sanctuary’s main lot by the koi pond and hop on board the Banana Bus. You will receive a brief safety briefing and away you will go!
Explore the Wild Side
Your bus tour will loop around the sanctuary twice, once in each direction so no matter which side you sit on, you won’t miss a thing! Chimps residing in the sanctuary will have the opportunity to come close and see who is visiting. Remember, this is their home and it is always chimp choice if they make an appearance!
Taste the Creation
After just a 6 min drive to Kerith House, you will be presented with a custom tasting flight of 4 choice wines. Want something else? The full menu will be available to purchase additional drinks during your visit. Your tour guide will remain with you for additional Q&A about the chimps.
Return to Sanctuary
Upon your return to Project Chimps, you can visit the sanctuary gift shop, take a stroll around the koi pond or, pull on your boots and enjoy the 6+ miles of hiking trails complimentary for the rest of the day.

Cancellation Policy
These tours are non-refundable but can be rescheduled. We will plan to hold your tour in most weather conditions. However, if there is a weather advisory affecting travel, we will recommend you reschedule. Additionally, extremely cold, extremely hot, or heavy rainstorms will impact your likelihood of seeing the chimpanzees and we will discuss rescheduling options if these conditions are predicted. Light rain or snow does not impact their activities. We will also discuss rescheduling options if extreme situations impacting the bus occur (i.e. flat tires or mechanical issues).
