Come get a feel for crafting with clay!
Whether you’re exploring pottery for the first time, refreshing skills from a long-ago art class, or looking to strengthen your handbuilding techniques, In a Pinch is a great place to start.
Over four weeks, Joel will introduce you to the fundamental techniques and time-tested methods of handbuilding — transforming a simple chunk of clay into something entirely your own, using your hands and a few basic tools.
Beginners will build a strong foundation, while potters with some experience are welcome to come strengthen their skills, practice technique, and explore new ideas.
Four weeks goes by in a blink, so come ready to dive in, ask questions, get your hands muddy, and have fun!
Last-minute registrations are welcome if the class has not sold out.
