ART ASAP: After School Arts Program | Mon + Tues weekly

Creative afternoons, growing skills, and plenty of room to make art their own.

Art ASAP is MWCA’s after-school art program with instructor Donna Coffman, designed to help young artists build confidence, strengthen skills, and enjoy making art in a fun, encouraging environment.

Students work on fresh projects every 4–6 weeks, exploring a variety of techniques, materials, and creative challenges throughout the school year. Classes are grouped by age so students can learn at an appropriate pace, receive helpful instruction, and grow alongside other young artists at a similar level.

For returning or more experienced students, Advanced Art 2 offers an opportunity to take skills further with more challenging projects and greater creative independence.

Art ASAP runs September through April, with registration month-to-month. Families can sign up one month at a time. Each month’s registration is open through the first Monday and Tuesday of the month only. After Tuesday, registration closes for that month, so be sure to register early to reserve your child’s spot.

Art ASAP is about more than finishing a project — it gives students time to practice, experiment, problem-solve, and see their abilities grow from one month to the next.
