Join instructor NancyJeanette Long for a welcoming weekly acrylic painting class where artists of all experience levels can learn new skills, experiment with techniques, and develop their own creative voice.
Each week offers something a little different. NancyJeanette may introduce color mixing, composition, drawing tips, brush techniques, still-life setups, demonstrations, or inspiration from art history, while providing plenty of individual guidance as you work.
Choose from subjects and ideas provided by NancyJeanette, bring a favorite reference photo, or continue working on a painting already in progress. Students may work at a table or standing easel and are encouraged to explore at their own pace.
Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to strengthen your existing skills, this open-format class gives you the instruction, encouragement, and creative freedom to keep growing as an artist.

Restrictions
This class can be enjoyed seated at a table easel or standing at an easel, so students may choose the setup that is most comfortable for them.
Participants should be able to safely handle basic painting materials and work for an extended class period.
