What to Expect

Explore the rich history of Savannah with a guided tour of the Davenport House Museum!

About

Explore the Davenport House Museum with one of our knowledgeable docents on a guided tour of this beautifully preserved Federal-style home, built in 1820. Tours last approximately one hour and offer insight into the Davenport family, the 13 enslaved individuals who lived and worked here, and daily life in early 19th-century Savannah. Through stories of architecture, material culture, and social history, guests gain a deeper understanding of the people and experiences that shaped this historic home and the city around it.
