What to Expect

This year the Augusta Museum of History is hosting workshops for adult participants that blend the history of the CSRA with the arts. This has been an insightful way to experience history. The next Hands On History Workshop is on October 24 from 1-4pm and the topic is Victorian Hair Jewelry. We will look at examples in the Museum's collection, learn how this Macabre artform became a trend, and have time to practice a couple techniques to create your own historic hair keepsakes.

Time to look at Hair Jewelry and wreaths in the Museum collection.
