What to Expect

Step into a flavor-packed, hands-on experience that blends experimentation and creativity. Learn why spices behave the way they do, why cinnamon won’t mix with water, how alliums transform over time, and what happens when flavors bloom, toast, or rest.

Plus, get the story behind why spices are so unique and important in Atlanta's history. You’ll make two custom spice blends to take home and sample with a snack at the end.

Relaxed, a little nerdy, and full of sensory fun, this experience connects global spice history with Southern foodways in an engaging, interactive workshop.
