An October Night of Tarot Cards, Curiosity & a Little Wekiva Island Magic
What to Expect
An October Night of Tarot Cards, Curiosity & a Little Wekiva Island Magic
There’s something different about the Wekiva River after dark in October.
The cypress trees become silhouettes. Spanish moss sways when there isn’t much of a breeze. The water turns black beneath the moonlight…and every once in a while, something splashes where you definitely weren’t looking.
On a night like this, you might as well shuffle the cards.
Join us at Wekiva Island for Tarot for Beginners, a two-hour journey into Tarot filled with history, symbolism, creativity, intuition—and just enough spooky October magic to make you wonder whether you really chose the card…or the card chose you.
No experience is necessary. Bring a Tarot deck if you have one. If you don’t, just bring your curiosity and we will supply the cards.
🕯️ LEARN THE SECRETS OF THE DECK
Step into the history and mystery of Tarot as we explore the Major and Minor Arcana, suits, symbolism, card meanings, and simple spreads.
Meet The Fool. The Moon. The Lovers. Death. The Devil. The Tower.
Don’t worry. They’re mostly harmless.
🌙 LISTEN TO YOUR INTUITION
Sometimes the first thing you notice in a card is exactly what you were supposed to see.
Learn to move beyond memorized meanings and read the imagery, symbols, colors, and stories hidden within the cards. You’ll practice trusting your instincts and discovering what the cards might be trying to tell you.
Whether you choose to listen is entirely up to you.
🔮 SHUFFLE. DRAW. REVEAL.
With a little guidance, you’ll perform a Tarot reading for yourself and a partner in a fun and supportive setting.
Shuffle the deck.
Ask your question.
Turn over the card.
And try not to look concerned when your partner whispers...
“Well, that’s interesting.”
🕸️ MAKE A LITTLE MAGIC
We’ll mix our Tarot lessons with hands-on, Tarot-inspired crafts and activities—a little something mysterious to take home from your night beside the river.
📜 TAKE THE CARDS HOME
Each attendee will receive guided notes and Tarot reference sheets so you can continue practicing long after the workshop ends.
Because once you learn to read the cards...
you may find yourself wanting to ask them just one more question.
So come spend an October evening beneath the full moon at Wekiva Island, where the lanterns glow, the cypress trees whisper, and the dark river keeps its secrets.
The moon is full.
The river is dark.
The cards are waiting.
And if you hear something moving in the Spanish moss behind you...
Don’t worry.
It’s probably just the wind.
Probably. 🌕🔮🐊
