If you'd rather skip the crowd, this one's for you. The Private Capybara Experience at our Ft. Lauderdale lounge gives your group its own room, its own capybara, and nothing on the clock but quiet time with one of the calmest animals on earth.

It works well for small groups who want the visit to feel personal. You get the room to yourselves, the capybara gets your full attention, and everyone leaves a little more relaxed than they arrived.

Our capybaras are gentle, but they do have natural nails, and the occasional scratch can happen. We suggest long pants and/or sleeves so you can settle in comfortably.
This isn't a petting zoo. It's a slower, quieter kind of visit, built around actually spending time with the animal rather than passing through.
Every interaction is on the capybara's terms. We never push them to participate; their comfort and choice come first.
Please sign your waivers before you arrive, and plan to be here 15 minutes early.
Groups can include up to 10 guests; children 2 and under don't count toward the guest total.
