Bioluminescence Tour

Step into the magic after dark…this one of a kind night tour introduces you to the glowing waters of the Indian River Lagoon, home to one of the few seasonal bioluminescent hotspots in the world. With glowing phytoplankton and darting fish trails of light in the summertime and stingless bioluminescent jellies in the winter time, the water comes alive in your hands. This tour blends cutting-edge science and ecological storytelling, thanks in part to my collaboration with conservationists and marine biologists. We stay up to date on the most recent discoveries—like genetic sequencing of pyrodinium and sightings of endangered rays—so you’re getting more than sparkle: you’re getting the why behind the wonder.
