This hands-on course is designed for adults with little to no experience, making it the ideal starting point for anyone curious about pottery. Over the course of six weeks, you’ll learn the foundational skills of wheel throwing while developing confidence and creativity with clay.
During each 2-hour weekly session, our experienced instructors will guide you step-by-step through essential pottery techniques, including:
• Centering clay on the wheel
• Pulling and shaping forms
• Creating bowls, cups, and other functional pieces
• Trimming and refining your work
• Decorative techniques and surface design
• Glazing your pottery
• Understanding the kiln firing process
With small class sizes and personalized guidance, you’ll have plenty of time to practice, experiment, and develop your skills while creating pieces you’ll be proud of.
Your workshop includes all tools and materials, along with 5 pounds of clay to get you started. All kiln firing and glazing costs are included, so there are no hidden fees—just bring your creativity and willingness to learn.
