Ready to take your pottery skills to the next level? Our 6-Week Advanced Adult Wheel Throwing Workshop at Stroke Of Art is designed for students who have completed a beginner pottery course and are ready to deepen their knowledge and refine their techniques on the wheel.
In this hands-on, skill-building course, you’ll expand on the fundamentals and explore more advanced methods that allow you to create stronger, more detailed, and more refined ceramic pieces. Our experienced instructors will guide you through new challenges while helping you develop your own creative style.
Each 2-hour weekly session provides plenty of time for practice, experimentation, and personalized instruction. Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore advanced techniques such as:
• Advanced centering and pulling techniques
• Trimming and refining forms on the wheel
• Creating more complex shapes and larger forms
• Decorative surface techniques
• Clay transfers and texture applications
• Advanced glazing approaches
• Improving consistency and craftsmanship
This workshop is perfect for potters who want to build confidence, create more intricate pieces, and continue growing their ceramic skills in a supportive and inspiring studio environment.
All tools, materials, and clay are included, along with kiln firing, so you can focus entirely on developing your craft without worrying about additional costs. Additional clay will also be available if you wish to create more pieces during the course.
