About

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. This course is meant to build confidence and skill and introduce you to 5 different PADI Dive Specialties:

• Navigation: Learn how to plan a dive and use a compass and natural bagigational markers to get yourself back to the boat.
• Peak Performance Buoyancy: Play buoyancy games underwater and experience that weightless feeling that comes with perfect buoyancy
• Wreck: Visit one of our Shipwrecks and learn how to identify hazards and plan a dive around an underwater structure
• Deep: Go down to 100 feet! Learn about how increased depth can affect your dive plan and check out the creatures that lurk a little deeper…
• Fish ID: Learn all about our aquatic creatures and different ways you can identify which species of fish you’re looking at.

To enroll in this course or the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course,
1. Students MUST have their Open Water Certification.
2. Students MUST be at least 12 years or older.
3. Students must complete the PADI medical questionnaire and if necessary, see a physician to confirm you are fit to dive.

• Divers are REQUIRED to wait 18 hours after scuba diving before flying on a plane.

What Will Silent World provide?

• Everything you need to become certified: academic materials (e-Learning), PADI Professional Instructor, all five open water dives (including related fees), and scuba equipment.
• Scuba Gear Included: mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control device (BCD), regulator set, wetsuit, scuba tanks, and weights.
• Friendly and Experienced PADI Instructor: Our delightful crew will take care of each student, making sure they feel comfortable and safe throughout the course.

Cancellation Policy:

• Courses and course materials are non-refundable. No exceptions will be made.

• There will be a $250 fee for anyone who does not show to class or reschedules same day as class, does not have materials at time of class and/or does not have materials completed correctly, or if day one of the course is not completed as scheduled.

• We require at 48 hour notice prior to your check-in time to change any reservations with no additional fee.

• For changes made to reservations within 48 hours, you will be billed a $70 fee.

• If you do not show up for your reservation, you will be billed for the full price of the course per person that was reserved. To reschedule, a $250 fee will be charged for not showing up to the scheduled course date or making changes the same day of the scheduled course.
