What to Expect
Join Captain Nick for an eight-hour, three-tank fossil dive charter aboard Shark Lady Enterprises’ 29-foot Intrepid. With more than 1,000 fossil dives, Captain Nick brings extensive experience and knowledge of the local fossil-diving environment as guests search beneath Florida’s Gulf Coast waters for prehistoric shark teeth and Ice Age fossils.
This is more than a day of diving, it is an educational fossil adventure. Shark Lady Emily is a marine biologist specializing in sharks, and the Shark Lady Enterprises team assists guests with identifying the shark teeth and Ice Age fossils they discover. Guests can also learn about the surrounding marine environment, shark species, and the prehistoric animals represented by their finds.
Three tanks and weights are provided, and divers may keep everything they personally find. Between dives, relax on the boat’s two benches or bean bags while enjoying the ride and thinking about those big Megalodon teeth. These are authentic fossil dives, so finding a Megalodon tooth or any other particular fossil cannot be guaranteed.
