Snorkel John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park — Two Reef Sites

Spend the morning or afternoon snorkeling two different reef sites inside John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary — America's first underwater park and one of the most biodiverse marine environments in the country.

Your captain selects both sites based on that day's conditions — wind, tide, current, and visibility — so you always get the best the reef has to offer. Depending on the day, you might end up at Molasses Reef, the Christ of the Abyss statue, or any of the other world-class reef sites within the sanctuary. Every trip is a little different.

Because you're sharing the boat with certified divers, you get two advantages most snorkel-only tours can't offer. First, you visit two different reef locations instead of just one — divers need a surface interval between dives, so you get a second spot while they reset. Second, the captain takes you to the real reef — vibrant coral formations full of tropical fish, sea turtles, and rays — not the shallow sandy patches closer to shore that snorkel-only boats tend to use.

Mask, snorkel, and fins are included — just bring a towel and sunscreen and you're good to go. No snorkeling experience is required, but all participants must be comfortable swimmers. Kids 6 and up are welcome. The crew is happy to help first-timers get comfortable before jumping in.
