Cancellations and Refunds

• Rentals under $100 (before tax): Cancellations must be made by 8:00 AM the day before the rental term begins.

• Rentals over $100 (before tax): Cancellations must be made by 8:00 AM at least 3 days before the rental term begins.
n
• Rentals over $350 (before tax): Cancellations must be made at least 5 days before the rental term begins.
n
• Different terms apply to rentals during Lobster Mini Season, whether or not you participate in lobstering activities. Please see Mini Season rules below.
n
• Approved refunds will be issued less a 3.5% administrative fee.
n
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made outside the applicable cancellation windows above.

Lobster Mini Season Rentals

All rentals that include any Lobster Mini Season dates (the last Wednesday and Thursday in July) are charged for the full rental term selected, regardless of rental length. No refunds or credits are provided for early returns. This policy applies even if rental gear is picked up prior to Mini Season.

Important: Reservations for rental gear during Lobster Mini Season become binding and non-refundable unless canceled by the Sunday prior to Mini Season. If not canceled by that deadline, the reservation must be paid in full, even if rental gear is not picked up.

Offsite Rental Terms

All offsite rentals are charged in 24-hour rental periods, with each rental day equal to 24 hours from pick-up time. Multi-day rentals consist of consecutive 24-hour periods based on the rental term selected. Rental gear (items/quantities per our records) must be returned by the end of the agreed rental term.

If rental gear is not returned on time, the credit card on file will be charged one additional rental day for each late day, up to three (3) additional rental days beyond the original rental term.

If rental gear is not returned after three (3) additional days beyond the original rental term, the credit card on file will be charged the replacement cost of the items.

All offsite rentals are subject to a 10% cleaning fee, based on the first rental day.

Replacement cost includes the cost of item(s), shipping/handling, and related replacement expenses, plus a 10% administrative fee. Supplier/manufacturer minimum order quantities or box/quantity values, if applicable, may be used in determining replacement cost.
nIf rental gear is returned after replacement charges have been applied, charges may be adjusted to the applicable additional rental fees if those fees are lower than the replacement cost.

Renters are responsible for the cost to replace any lost or damaged gear, as defined above.

All renters must present a valid driver's license at pickup. Renters booking BCD, regulator, and/or tank rentals must also provide a valid scuba certification number (Levels Open Water Diver or higher) at the time of booking and present proof of certification at pickup.
