About

  • Guided by an experienced marine biologist, this eco boat tour on Sarasota Bay showcases the area’s diverse wildlife, including the Florida manatee and bottlenose dolphins. The highlight of this trip is the collection of samples of marine life using a trawl net to discover critters living at the bottom of Sarasota Bay. This eco boat tour will also navigate around bird rookery islands, perfect for spotting birds such as pelicans, herons, ibis and egrets.
  • Our 45-foot pontoon boats, the Explorer V and VI, are Coast Guard-inspected covered vessels equipped with an on-board restroom, comfortable seating, cold drinks.
  • We must meet a minimum passenger count to cruise. Reservations are highly recommended. We take reservations for regularly scheduled cruises no more than 4 weeks in advance.
  • All scheduled cruises are subject to change.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes prior to departure, boarding is approximately 15 prior to departure. Please allow extra time for traffic you don't want to miss the boat.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling, customers have up until 24 hours before the time of the cruise to call for a full refund. You must arrive NO LATER than 30 minutes before your cruise time. If you are late and miss the boat: no refund will be issued.

If your passenger count changes before check-in time, you are responsible for calling the desk to alert crew for a refund based on our previously stated cancellation policy. Arriving with fewer passengers than originally scheduled without prior notice will result in no refund of unused tickets. Due to a coast guard enforced passenger limit, if you arrive with more passengers than were originally accounted for in your reservation we cannot guarantee tickets will be available last minute. In addition, you are not guaranteed a refund on purchased tickets if lack of additional availability prevents you from cruising with us.

Weather Related Cancellation:

Cancellation due to weather is decided by the captain by time of departure. Lightning, heavy rain, or high winds may potentially cancel the cruise; however, we operate rain or shine and scattered or isolated showers will not cause us to cancel. If we cancel due to inclement weather we will issue a full refund. For information regarding cancellation on the part of the customer, please refer to our previously stated cancellation and refund policy.
