Sunset Sail Aboard the Schooner Suncoast Horizon

There’s a reason our Sunset Sail is the most talked-about experience in Treasure Island!

Duration

2 1/2 Hours

About

Step aboard Suncoast Horizon, the most photographed boat in the region, and watch the Gulf turn gold!

As we ease beyond John’s Pass into the open Gulf (conditions permitting), the world seems to exhale. The wind takes the sails and the engine falls silent. The coastline softens into shadows and silhouettes as the sun begins it descent and falls below the horizon.

This is not a loud party cruise.
This is not a pirate ship with staged theatrics.
No scripted performances.
Just the timeless beauty of traditional schooner sailing.

This is classic Gulf Coast sailing — peaceful, authentic, unforgettable.

Our true working schooner offers comfortable seating and wide open decks perfect for photos. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic evening, or simply soaking in a perfect Florida day, this is the moment you’ll remember long after your vacation ends.

You’ll feel the breeze shift as the crew trims the sails. You may spot dolphins surfacing beside the bow. Pelicans glide low across glowing water. And then the sky begins its transformation — gold to amber to deep Florida crimson.

Our limited passenger count keeps the atmosphere relaxed and unhurried. There’s room to move, room to breathe, and room to simply take it all in.

This is the kind of sunset that doesn’t need narration.

It just needs a schooner.

Departure times vary throughout the year to ensure you have the most beautiful sunset view.
